Die Casting Part Inspector Job DescriptionThe Die Casting Quality Inspector maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products while recording quality results. The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting the parts and filing paper work for the customers. To ensure good quality the inspectors must random inspect parts that are boxed as not to miss any parts that are not quality ensured.Quality Inspector’s aim is to ensure that the product is fit for the customer, and is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations. A quality inspector coordinates the activities required to meet quality standards. The Quality Inspector must follow these duties while corresponding with the Quality Manager. They communicate with Quality Manager and Quality Staff throughout the organization to ensure that the quality system is effective. The quality inspector advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality for Castings Aluminum’s customers.
