The Die Casting Maintenance Manager maintains the quality of the Facility that the machines and operations are done in. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for up
keeping the business, and ensuring the die casting machines are operable.
A Maintenance Manager over sees the up keeping of the business. Fixing water and gas lines, machines, electrical, and the cleanness of the company. The Maintenance
Manager answers to the Die Casting Production Manager. The maintenance manager is also responsible for employees such as Maintenance jobs.
A Die Casting Maintenance Manager must have the ability to supervise a variety of personnel actions and direct a work force to ensure the facility is maintained in a
clean and orderly manner, appreciation of special needs of union users, flexibility to adjust to changing schedules, some knowledge of techniques and crafts involved
in preventive maintenance (housekeeping and construction), open to new ideas and adaptable to changing technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least three years of successful supervisory experience, preferably in a construction or facility maintenance position.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management is desirable although significant experience and special training may be acceptable in lieu of a
degree.
The ability to work with your hands.
Physical dexterity is also helpful in day to day jobs.
